Training
Peggy is a skilled trainer and facilitator, and often focuses on leadership and governance, labour rights, political affairs, and public speaking. In addition to her ongoing work at Toronto Metropolitan University, she has offered training sessions at McMaster University, the Canadian Labour Congress, and widely throughout the labour movement.
Her popular Women in the House program, offered through TMU and co-instructed by Dr. Tracey Raney, helps aspiring women in politics hone their leadership skills, and bridges gender disparities in Canadian politics. It blends theoretical and real world experience, and the centrepiece of the program is the opportunity to shadow a woman MP and her staff in Ottawa—seeing first-hand what it means to be a woman leader. The program is multi-partisan and engages with all main political parties in Ottawa.
Peggy is available for training and facilitation for your organization or educational institution.
